8 slices bread (wheat and white work great)
4 tablespoons milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
|At one end of the bread, place a small strip of the filling and roll up.|
Pinch the ends of the rolls to seal it, and to keep
the filling from coming out.
In shallow dish combine sugar and cinnamon. Mix well.
In another shallow dish combine the 2 eggs with the milk, and whisk until combined.
Heat a griddle over medium heat, melt butter-coating the pan.
Dredge the bread rolls in the egg mixture and place on the hot griddle, seam side down.
Cook until golden brown, turning to ensure that all the sides get golden brown.
Remove from pan and roll to coat in cinnamon mix.
