Wisconsin Beer Dip

Being from Wisconsin this instantly caught my eye! Beer and cheese can be found at almost every tailgate, cookout, or party in Wisconsin.  It's what we do best! This recipe comes from the blog A Teaspoon of Happiness.  (I made this tonight for Hubby and he approved! It is very tasty but very filling.)

Ingredients
2 (8oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
1/3 to 1/2 cup beer (Miller Light would be a great beer!)
11-ounce packet of dry ranch dressing mix
1-1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Pretzels for dipping

Directions
In a small bowl mix together cream cheese, beer and ranch dressing packet until smooth.  Evenly spread mixture over a plate or serving platter.  Top with cheese and serve with pretzels.
